Titanic film in 1997

Titanic is the 1997 American epic romance and disaster film directed, co-produced, written, and co-edited by James Cameron. A fictionalized account of the dipping of the RMS Titanic, it stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Jack Dawson and Kate Winslet as Rose DeWitt Bukater, associate of different social classes who fall in love on board the ship during its ill-fated maiden voyag. Creation on the film began in 1995, when Cameron shot footage of the real Titanic wreck. The recent scenes were shot on board the Akademik Mstislav Keldysh, which Cameron had use as a foundation when filming the actual wreck. A rebuilding of the Titanic was built at Playas de Rosarito, Baja California, and scale models and computer-generate imagery were also used to reconstruct the sinking.

Titanic was an enormous serious and commercial success. It was selected for fourteen Academy Awards, eventually winning eleven, with Best Picture and Best Director. It become the maximum grossing film of all time, with a worldwide gross of over $1.8 billion the first film to attain the billion dollar mark and remain so for twelve years awaiting Cameron's after that directorial effort, Avatar, surpassed it in 2010. Titanic is also rank as the sixth top epic film of all time in AFI's 10 Top 10 by the American Film Institute. The film is due for dramatic re-release in 2012 after Cameron complete its conversion into 3-D.

In his first main foray back into the media since the ending of Seinfeld, he co-wrote and co-produced the film Bee Movie, also taking on the guide role of Barry B. Benson. In February 2010, Seinfeld premiered a realism TV series called The Marriage Ref on NBC. Seinfeld is now directing his friend Colin Quinn in the Broadway show Long Story Short at the Helen Hayes Theater in New York during January 8, 2011.

According to Forbes magazine, Jerry Seinfeld's yearly earnings from Seinfeld, in 1998, was $267 million, making him the highest earning personality that year. Seinfeld still generate more income than most present shows, through syndication and DVD sales. He allegedly turned down $5 million per episode, for 22 episodes, to carry on the show beyond its final season. He earned $100 million from syndication deal and stand-up look in 2005 and $60 million in 2006. He also earned $10 million for show with Bill Gates in Microsoft's 2008 ads for Windows. Between June 2008 and June 2009, Seinfeld earn $85 million, creation him the highest paid comedian during that 12-month period.

Thomas Jeffrey "Tom" Hanks is an American actor, writer, producer and director. Hanks work in television and family friendly comedies, gaining broad notice in 1988's Big, before achieve success as a dramatic actor in some notable roles, including Andrew Beckett in Philadelphia, the title role in Forrest Gump, Commander James A. Lovell in Apollo 13, Captain John H. Miller in save Private Ryan, Joe Fox in You have Got Mail and Chuck Noland in Cast Away. Hanks won consecutive Best Actor Academy Awards, in 1993 for Philadelphia and in 1994 for Forrest Gump. U.S. domestic box office total for his films beat $3.9 billion. He is the father of actor Colin Hanks.

Benjamin Edward "Ben" Stiller is an American comedian, actor, writer, producer and film director. He is the child of veteran comedians and actors Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara. After beginning his acting career with a play, Stiller wrote many mockumentaries, and was offered two of his own shows, both entitled The Ben Stiller Show. He begins acting in films, and had his directorial debut with Reality Bites. Throughout his career he has since written, starred in, directed, and/or produced over fifty films with Heavyweights, There's Something about Mary, Meet the Parents, Zoolander, Dodgeball, and Tropic Thunder. In addition he has had several cameos in music videos, television shows, and films.

Stiller is an associate of the comedic acting brotherhood colloquially known as the Frat Pack. His films have gross more than $2.1 billion domestically (United States and Canada), with an average of $73 million per film. Throughout his career, he has got several awards and honors including an Emmy Award, several MTV Movie Awards, and a Teen Choice Award.
