Tara Dawn Holland

She took her reason to the national spotlight when she was crowned Miss America 1997. She used up the year fighting for literacy education for people of all ages and backgrounds, as well as raising funds and encouraging those involved in the cause. Since her year of service, she has nonstop to speak for local, state, and national organizations on this critical issue. In addition to traveling as a speaker, Holland has enjoyed several opportunities to perform musically. She had the honor of singing for two of President George W. Bush's introductory events, including the Armory Ball, the biggest official Inaugural Ball. She has appeared in various media outlets. Today, Holland is very energetic with youth, both in her local community and as a national sexual abstinence speaker to tens of thousands of students for every year. She also sings and speaks for women’s groups, fundraisers, and churches.

Jack Kemp

Jack French Kemp was the American politician and an idealistic and professional football player. A Republican, he served as Housing Secretary in the management of President George H. W. Bush from 1989–93, having previously served nine terms as a Congressman for Western New York from 1971-89. He was the Republican Party's applicant for Vice President in the 1996 election, where he was the running-mate of presidential candidate Bob Dole. Kemp had before contended for the presidential nomination in the 1988 Republican primaries. Before incoming politics, Kemp was a professional quarterback for 13 years. He played momentarily in the National Football League (NFL) and the Canadian Football League (CFL), but become a star in the American Football League (AFL). He served as captain of both the San Diego Chargers and Buffalo Bills and earn the AFL Most expensive Player award in 1965 after leading the Bills to a second consecutive championship.

George Walker Bush was served as the 43rd President of the United States. Bush is the eldest son of President George H. W. Bush, who served as the 41st President, and Barbara Bush, make him one of only two American presidents to be the son of a previous president. Eight months into Bush's first phrase as president, the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks occurred. In response, Bush announced a global War on Terrorism, ordered a raid of Afghanistan that same year and an invasion of Iraq in 2003. He signed into law broad tax cuts, the No Child Left Behind Act, the Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act, and Medicare instruction drug benefits for seniors. His possession saw national debates on immigration and Social Security. After leaving office, Bush return to Texas and purchased a home in a suburban area of Dallas, Texas. He is at present a public speaker and is writing a book about his presidency.

George H. W. Bush

George Herbert Walker Bush was served as the 41st President of the United States. He became involved in politics soon after start his own oil company, serving as a member of the House of Representatives, among other positions. He ran unsuccessfully for president of the United States in 1980, but was chosen by party nominee Ronald Reagan to be the vice presidential candidate, and the two were subsequently elected. During his tenure, Bush headed administration task forces on deregulation and hostility drug abuse. Bush launched a successful campaign to succeed Reagan as president, defeating Democratic adversary Michael Dukakis. Foreign policy groups the Bush presidency; military operations were conducted in Panama and the Persian Gulf at a time of world change; the Berlin Wall fell in 1989 and the Soviet Union dissolved two years soon.He is the last president to have been a Second World War veteran. Until the election of his son George W. Bush to the presidency in 2000, Bush was normally referred to simply as "George Bush
